I've always been a bit obsessed with the For Dummies line of books. Currently on my shelf? Mom Blogging For Dummies, Knitting For Dummies, Crochet For Dummies, Online Community Management For Dummies... The list goes on and on. So naturally I jumped up and down and SQUEE'd (yes, I SQUEE, don't act surprised) when I learned that my fave blogger and conference putter-on'er was writing Pinterest For Dummies. Kelby Carr is an amazing writer and a Pinterest obsessed gal like myself.
This book tells you everything you ever needed to know about Pinterest. Think you are an expert already? I...
Let's face it. These days the options our families have are:
Mom is happy, Kids get attention, Family is fed a healthy meal, House is a wreck.
Mom is happy, Kids get attention if they are on facebook chat, Family is fed any meal (don't get picky y'all. Pizza is a food group!), House is less of a wreck.
Mom is happy, Kids get left to fend for themselves, Family is fed a semi-healthy meal, House is still sort of a wreck, but decent enough for a surprise visitor.
Mom is not happy, Kids get attention, Family is fed a healthy meal, House is...
First off, who doesn't love s'mores?! Grahams, chocolate, marshmallows and FIRE! ;)
Second, now add in gourmet, handmade swanky marshmallows from the amazing Park Hyatt Beaver Creek in Avon, Colorado!
Third, now imagine toasting these super delicious marshmallows rain or shine over your very own s'mores maker!
This is what Carter and I did over the weekend. The husband was stuck at work and Thomas was still pretty sick. Brady is allergic to 99% of what makes up a s'more, so it was up to Carter and I to eat it all, and we had a blast doing just that!

I'm not a fan of cleaning. I mean, I have to clean 24/7 with 3 boys and especially after my oldest recently had pneumonia and strep. I was on triple cleaning duty then to try to keep the rest of the house from catching it. I was thrilled to get my hands on the No Touch Kitchen System from lysol during this germ outbreak.

I am always looking at new face washes, zit creams, sunscreens (hello?! in Colorado you NEED sunscreen in bulk!) and love to try new products in the hopes that I can keep this youthful glow (or at least keep the wrinkles at bay another year or two). I don't want to keep the teenage worthy pimples I've been graced with lately. Why is it that at 30-something I have more zits than I did at sixteen?!
Yes to Carrots has an amazing skin care line. I even snagged a great deal for you... $15 for $35 worth of products and if...

Kickboard Scooters are going to make a big splash this spring. They are already making a HUGE splash with my boys. We received a Mini, Maxi and a regular ol' 2 wheel scooter from Kickboard USA. I was especially excited as it was supposed to start warming up here in Colorado and we had a couple days of 60 degree weather on the horizon. Nothing like letting the boys run off their energy outside instead of with a face in some sort of video game.

If you have ever been to my house, you know there is marker, sharpie, crayon, ink pen and even glitter on my walls. I have no idea why little ones think it's necessary to draw a mural on a nice clean wall, but for some reason all three of my boys have. I stopped painting over them long ago. I just couldn't keep up! Thank goodness the makers of BlankZ contacted me to see if I'd be interested in reviewing their toys. Yes!!! Finally something my kids can color on besides my walls. ;)

We've had quite the crazy ride here in Denver this football season. The controversies that surround our boy Tebow made national news the entire year. Whether you are pro or anti Tebow, you have to agree, it was quite fascinating watching him play.
I'm a bit sad they didn't make it past the 2nd round of the playoffs, especially since my favorite Tom Brady was the one to keep them out, but I'm beyond stoked that the Patriots will have their rematch against the Giants. You can bet I'll be watching the game next weekend and not just for the commercials...
