Kickboard Scooters are going to make a big splash this spring. They are already making a HUGE splash with my boys. We received a Mini, Maxi and a regular ol' 2 wheel scooter from Kickboard USA. I was especially excited as it was supposed to start warming up here in Colorado and we had a couple days of 60 degree weather on the horizon. Nothing like letting the boys run off their energy outside instead of with a face in some sort of video game.

If you have ever been to my house, you know there is marker, sharpie, crayon, ink pen and even glitter on my walls. I have no idea why little ones think it's necessary to draw a mural on a nice clean wall, but for some reason all three of my boys have. I stopped painting over them long ago. I just couldn't keep up! Thank goodness the makers of BlankZ contacted me to see if I'd be interested in reviewing their toys. Yes!!! Finally something my kids can color on besides my walls. ;)

We've had quite the crazy ride here in Denver this football season. The controversies that surround our boy Tebow made national news the entire year. Whether you are pro or anti Tebow, you have to agree, it was quite fascinating watching him play.
I'm a bit sad they didn't make it past the 2nd round of the playoffs, especially since my favorite Tom Brady was the one to keep them out, but I'm beyond stoked that the Patriots will have their rematch against the Giants. You can bet I'll be watching the game next weekend and not just for the commercials...
I saw a fellow blogger post on facebook about a cool new iPhone/iPod/iPad/iWhatever app he found for his kids. Alien Buddies. I consider myself an app collector, if you will, so I downloaded it right away. Okay, so less of a collector and more of a hoarder, I have about 120 apps in itunes right now saying they have updates. Lord knows how many total I have. But I digress… So Alien Buddies. I downloaded it and started playing with it with Brady. In his various therapies we are working on matching and drawing straight lines. The matching game in...
My husband grew up in Denver, all three of our boys were born in Denver. My dad loved Denver and even lived in Boulder for a while. My grandparents vacationed in Colorado. All the more reason to love it here. While looking for some Halloween decorations, I stumbled upon a box of old slides from my grandparents. One box stood out to me more than the others. A trip to Denver in 1970. While going through these slides I got to see parts of Denver, Boulder, Idaho Springs, even Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, all looking just as...
My kids have owned about every type of pet known to man. Recently our hermit crab (named, bat crab) floated on up to hermit crab heaven. My seven year-old is used to pets dying (hint to me to stop buying them maybe?!) and wasn’t too torn up about it, but misty nonetheless. The next afternoon we got a package in the mail and it was full of XiaXias. Carter turned to me and said two things, “Hey, we don’t need to get a new hermit crab now Mom!” (wasn’t going to anyway kid) and, “Even though these look like girl...
My kids get the flu shot every year. During the winter months we’ve had to be extra careful about germs as my DH works in a hospital and who knows what he’s bringing home with him. The Kitchen is another hot spot for germs in our house. I cook almost every nights and the kids like to help. We could be spreading more germs there as well....
