Now that you have a great blog and great design thanks to our first 3 posts, it’s time to get people to actually come and visit your site. I love programs like HootSuite to help auto post my content to my facebook fan page and twitter, in addition to the good old fashioned promoting (i.e. asking your mom, husband, kids babysitters dogwalker to come read it). Coming up with an idea for a blog is often the easiest part. Naming it is crucial. If you are talking about scrapbooking you don’t want to name it “bananas in pajamas”. No one will know what your blog is about. Think of it this way, you only have a couple seconds to make a good impression on google, facebook, twitter, etc. Make sure your message is spelled out.
