I just got back from Disney World thanks to the Social Media Moms Celebration! We had even more fun than last year’s Celebration and I didn’t think that was possible!
Since we were traveling with my autistic son, I thought I’d compile a list of tips and links to websites that helped us plan our trip. This post is live over at Savvy Source.
One of my best tips is to get an ID tag made. Almost every gift shop has a machine that will create these invaluable tags. I picked the one at the Star Tours ride since it was a family favorite (and we are a bit of a Star Wars Geeky family). For only $11 I made a luggage tag with my son’s name and information and my name and cell phone number. It cam with a leather strap that we then used to attach it to his belt loop. Made my heart rest at ease a bit knowing that if he got separated from us, there was a way to let people know how to get him back to us even with Brady being non-verbal.
