Inspired from many many a cable hat, I couldn’t find one I love, especially one knit in the round, so I made my own. Enjoy!

Hi there! I just love this hat pattern and am finally just getting to start knitting it. My skills are newer and I have a question about the directions for Row 8. It says K10, make one to end. What does the “make one to end” part mean exactly?? I appreciate any tips you may be able to share!

Knit 10, then make one and then repeat that over and over until the end.
so you are increasing every 11th stitch until you have 88.

I went to get yarn for this and found the info confusing: sport weight is a ’2′, DK is a ’3′. I went with the guage which is really a worsted. hope it will fit. Not sure if anyone else found that confusing but it sounds like it is a nice pattern to knit. looking forward it a new accessory to keep me warm in minnesota! thanks for sharing.
