I’ve been blessed in years past, to be able to attend the Disney Social Media Mom Celebration. The past 4 years it has been at Walt Disney World and gave my family experiences we will never forget! Learning from some of the best social media innovators, getting behind the scenes access and insight into Disney Parks and Walt Disney World Resorts. Meeting other bloggers and social media professionals who have the same passion for The Mouse as I do.
This year, the conference is being held at Disneyland this weekend. I’m following along from home and know that my bloggy friends will be tweeting and instagraming the best of the best moments. You can follow along online with the hashtag #DisneySMMoms.
Before the conference, I asked a few friends that were going to share who their favorite Disney characters were. I then created outfits based on some simple criteria they gave me. Budget friendly or sky’s the limit. Conference Wear, Parkhopping, Nightlife, etc. Here are some of the looks I created!
Leticia – TechSavvyMama.com
For this look, Leticia threw budget out the window and asked me to create a Snow White set perfect for visiting the parks.
Andrea – LilKidThings.com
Andrea wanted a look perfect for a date night with her husband. Maybe watching World of Color after dining at Wine Country Trattoria. This Esmerelda look is budget friendly, until you get to that Tory Burch handbag. 😉
Charlie – HowtobeaDad.com
Charlie was hoping for an expensive looking outfit for the conference that would remind people of Robin Hood. Now I know this look is missing that iconic hat and red feather, but I didn’t want it to turn costume-like.
Kelly – CenstibleLife.com
Kelly wanted to stay on budget, hence the theme of her site. Total cost is $136, though I’m sure she could save even more if she shopped for similar items at a thrift store or caught some great sales! Ariel was the character of choice.
Erin – AParentingProduction.com
Erin gave me a challenge. Not only a Rapunzel look, but one for parkhopping with kids. I tried to find something that would work carrying around snacks and souvenirs, as well as being easy, comfortable and able to move around. Chasing kids through Disneyland is no simple task!
