Back to School. This for my family means back to the shuffle with 3 kids in 3 different schools all starting and stopping at 3 different times. We are finally home around 4pm and then the “What’s for dinner?!??!” whines kick in.

Okay, so I might be a part of that whining, wondering what the heck to MAKE for dinner. I have a few recipes on stand-by to feed my brood, that I know will be crowd pleasers. Most involve cheese because, what can I say? We are cheese-aholics! Well, except Brady who is dairy free, but if we could find a cheese without soy or dairy in it that didn’t taste like cardboard? He’d be a cheese-aholic too.

One of my favorite recipes is my Skillet Lasagna! The kids love it and it takes only about 35-40 minutes to make, instead of the hours+ it takes for traditional lasagna.

Another great cheeeeesified recipe is The Pioneer Woman’s Mac & Cheese. She adds dry mustard, which my boys don’t care for, so I just omit that part. I like to put onions in mine, but again, the picky boys say no. Booo!

The last cheeserific recipe is from Savoring The Thyme. A healthier way to have pizza! Whole wheat crust, bison meatballs vs. ground beef. YUM!

The cheese I use in most of my dinners is Tillamook. You know you are craving their vintage white sharp cheddar right now, right?! Tillamook is promoting healthy eating this school year and supporting  Feeding America– the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity.

disclosure: Tillamook very generously sent us a backpack (which Carter stole immediately, ’cause it’s BRIGHT ORANGE!) Inside we got coupons for cheese and yogurt and some fun pens and buttons. No compensation was made for this post.
