We Love LEGO®! It’s no surprise to anyone that knows us. We’ve been to LEGOLAND in California, many many LEGO® stores and spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours constructing. We are even making brick and minifigure crayons for Valentine’s this year.
My boys also love watching The Official LEGO® Channel on youtube and creating their own playlists of the different building instructions and webisodes. Did you know they have TONS of videos to keep the kids entertained? They kept the adults in this house entertained as well!

Just as your child exercises their imagination with LEGO® bricks, you can instill creativity by creating a special playlist of your own to share with them. It’s easy:
- Visit the new Official LEGO® Channel (Youtube.com/LEGO) and watch a favorite video
- Click “Video Options”
- Select “Add to Playlist”
- Sign in using your regular Youtube Login (this is often linked to your gmail account)
- Add your selected video to your playlist or create a new one.
What I love about this new channel is that it’s easy, entertains our kids and is super super simple. Check it out online, with your tablet, or even on your smart phone!
Why we love this? Well, besides my kids being obsessed with anything LEGO®, the new YouTube channel has over 500 videos from a name I trust with more videos being added daily. This keeps the boys happy and quiet! (well, except when they are cracking up over something Darth Vadar did. My kids get to go behind the scenes, be inspired, be entertained, and see the newest video shorts. It’s fun for them and wicket easy for me to set up a playlist for them.
Just a few of the types of videos you will find on The Official LEGO® Channel
- LEGO® Star Wars™
- LEGO® City
- LEGO® Hero Factory
- LEGO® DC Universe™ Super Heroes
- LEGO® The Lord of the Rings™
- LEGO® The Hobbit™
- LEGO® Monster Fighters
- LEGO® DUPLO®
A while back, Carter took his baby brother’s toy video camera and decided to make his own “how-to” video to show how to build a LEGO® chair. Check out his cuteness and hear his baby brother barking orders off screen. LOL
