I’m a cheapskate.
I’ve always been a cheapskate…but now that I have four kids and the cost of anything we do more than quadruples…I’m really a cheapskate.
So I do a lot of free things with the kids — hiking, and visits to parks with water features and splash pads, and we take advantage of every single summer reading program that gives us free stuff.
And when we go to the movies, we never pay full price. Obviously.
You’re probably not going to get the latest releases when you go as cheaply as we do. But you get the movie theater experience, and air conditioning with the indoor movies, and since you saved on the movies…you can splurge on the snacks! Also, there are some great movies in here that never get old (The Neverending Story?!?!? Who’s with me? Atreyuuuu!)
