Why is it that people on craigslist have to be either extremely odd, or just freaky?? I mean you get some normal people which is great, but I have been getting a ton of weird people. I mean I have been trying to sell a few things, and now I have a lady asking about the 2 leapster games I am trying to sell. Every single person that has emailed about these things are just weird. Either they ask is it still available and then email back I want, and then I never hear back. Or I get the weirdest worded email that makes me think I should rethink meeting this person. I have had one normal person come and buy one of them but now selling these other two has just been one weird person after another. Oh and I love when I post a picture of something I am selling and I get someone showing up and going oh that's not what I thought it was.....Uh really?? I do have a picture posted for you to see what I am selling you know???

I have never posted anything on craigslist, but my hubby and I have thought about selling some things ourselves. we have a ton of stuff in our basement from my in-laws. seems like every time they move cross country they stop through and give us stuff! good stuff though! but, it's still stuff! I've got so much framed artwork, old lamps, etc that I might re-purpose and get all crafty with some of it, but some of it just has got to go! I've always wondered about craigstlist and all that comes along once you post through it....

Sometimes it works out great, but small stuff is harder to sell. I have sold a bunch over the last year, but just gotta get past some of the people. I am pulling all my ads though I need a break until the new year. I think I may try a yard sale next though I got too much stuff that I want to get rid of. Doing a whole clean out of our basement too.

I've thought about trying to unload some of the babystuff through craigslist, but the wierdo issue, and the work involved just makes me cringe, so I don't and I'm swimming in stuff I don't need.
Decided to hit consignment tomorrow. May not get as much $$ for it. May not get anything for it really. But it's GOT to get out of my house so I can add more from christmas.

Some of those weird ones are phishing to see if you will reply because then they get your real email address. If it just says something generic like "is this still available?" - do not reply.

I have sold, and given away, a ton of stuff on craigslist. It is convenient enough that I am willing to deal with the weirdos, but seriously, don't tell me you will pick it up at 4pm and NEVER call or email to cancel. It really is frustrating. I am a little freaked out as well so I always arrange for people to come over when my DH is home.
