"Crockpots are coming back"

I use my crockpot more now as a SAHM than I did as a working mom and I sure think it should have been the other way around. I love my crockpot and I use it weekly. It's one of the best appliances I own.

And battleax......crockpot liners are a life saver. I'll buy you some!

I use my crockpot more when I am having company and need to make more food but need to be doing something else like cleaning hehe

They are like big plastic bags that you line the crockpot with, then fill with food. It doesn't keep it completely clean, but considerably cleaner. I think Reynolds is the brand I've seen. You can find them at Walmart, Target, grocery stores. Very convenient...for a price.

I love my crock pot. I use it once a week. I don't think they ever went anywhere.

I just got one (you know I didn't have one for a while!) but I'm sure I didn't start a trend. :bust

My new one ROCKS and is so easy to clean it's amazing! I'm so happy to have it! Doesn't burn or anything, works as well (better!) than the old ancient one I had of my Grandma's! :woohoo So happy to have one again!

I love my crockpot, but I have to agree that without the liners I would be in crockpot h^ll. SUCH a life saver.

I need to get the liners. I've been saying that forever, but really!! I have a circa 1965 crockpot... the insert doesn't come out and it's a biotch to clean!

I use mine a few times a week. I love it especially because the baby is constantly attached to my leg while I cook so I can put dinner together without a kid attached to me.

lol emily, i was thinking the same thing! i recently learned how to make yogurt in a crockpot...it's pretty cool (google crockpot yogurt).

I love mine too! Use it once or twice a week. I threw some chicken and soup in it this morning before i left for work. Love coming home to good smelling hot food!! The kids do too. Mine comes apart tho, so its really easy to clean. One of the best gifts my MIL gave us!!

My crockpot never went anywhere. I have never heard of a liner though. That might be worth a try.
