Well, it’s been a couple weeks since I started with Jenny Craig and I’m already noticing a difference! Previously I shared with you my struggles being a busy work from home mom. So far I’ve found the meals to help greatly with portion control and to remind me to eat more frequently throughout the day.
Sure I’ve had challenges, going out to dinner with friends, a mini vacation, a concert, but all in all I’ve tried to stick with the program and have started losing some weight! Going in to get weighed was a little daunting at first, but everyone at the location is so nice and really cheers you on. They are a great source of motivation and really keep me on track.
I love how the consultants teach you to have a healthy relationship with food. No more late night binges before bed of cheese and crackers! Now if I’m feeling a bit snacky, I drink a large glass of water or have some fruit. I’m more active as well. I guess you can say my energy has gone up! It feels really good to not be so exhausted in the mornings and I no longer have that mid afternoon crash.
So far, in 3 weeks I’ve lost 5 lbs. Typically, Jenny Craig members can expect to lose an average of 1-2 pounds per week, which is a healthy range of weight loss. I’m just hoping I stay motivated to keep the weight off and lose more! Every day I’m closer to that goal weight and am starting to see and feel the difference!
