Skater Baby Brim Hat {Free Knitting Pattern}

Going through all of my knitting patterns, cleaning them up, dusting them off and sharing them with you all for free! :) I hope you enjoy these as much as I do. Hey, if you are on Ravelry, look me up! I’m ColoradoMoms over there.

Skater Baby

This is one of my most popular knitting patterns, tied with the iPhone Sweater. I love going into ravelry and seeing all of the hats people make using this pattern. If you make one, please link me in the comments below! I’d love to see! (Click the image below for the free .pdf)

    This is one of the cutest hats I have ever seen. One question: what do you mean when you write ” after decrease you have 1/17/08?”. I haven’t made hats; however I really want to try my hands with this pattern. Also would you have this in an adult version? I can figure out the casts ons but, not sure about the decreases.

    Thank you.

      Sorry! The formatting on the blog changed the count to a date. I’ll go in and fix. Also, for an adult hat, keep adding in increments of 8 stitches or uses heavier weight yarn or larger needles. I made this in vanna’s choice solids for an adult on 7′s with a cast on of 88 stitches.

    Can I make that for a three year old up to seven year old?

    Do you have the knitting pattern for skater chick hat? Thanks so much:)

    I can’t wait to start on this hat! I am making two for a friend’s twins, one in green and beige and the other in beige and green. The pattern does not specify how much yarn is needed for each hat. Can it be completed with one skein of the dominant color?

    Thanks!

    I love the skater baby brim hat, it is soooo cute on him and he is such a cutie pie! I am going to attempt to make it for my son, he is 8. His brother (age 4) may want one also, he loves to mimic his big brother. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. I will let you know how it turns out. School is starting and they are constantly losing or misplacing their hats and gloves at school, so it helps to make a few.

    Thanks again! :) )
