Recently I was invited to take the kids down to Colorado Springs and visit the Cheyenne Mountain Resort for some holiday treats. One thing led to another, sick kids and broken collar bones, but finally we get to take the trip this weekend. The boys and I are so excited! From their site: Tucked away […]
This time of year I get such an itch to craft and create, thanks to all the beautiful and adorable ideas on Pinterest, but let’s face it, all those craft supplies can cost a mint. Add that to gifts for three kiddos, and my crafty mood can turn a little grinchy. Not to mention I […]

And the winner is?? LauraG! Fun Friends are also “best friends” my 6 year old tells me. Fun Friends generously sent us a bunch of these furry cell phone and ipod covers to test out. My boys each clamored over who got what. Cartman decided on the “Funky” monkey ipod cover and penguin cell phone […]
Picture this: It’s a Tuesday evening. Dinner is on the stove. Your husband is late coming home from work (again). Your moody tween is grumbling about homework, the seven year-old is literally bouncing off the walls and the toddler is unrolling his second toilet paper roll of the day. Now picture this: Mom sitting on […]
If you have ever been to my house, you know there is marker, sharpie, crayon, ink pen and even glitter on my walls. I have no idea why little ones think it’s necessary to draw a mural on a nice clean wall, but for some reason all three of my boys have. I stopped painting over them long ago. I just couldn’t keep up! Thank goodness the makers of BlankZ contacted me to see if I’d be interested in reviewing their toys. Yes!!! Finally something my kids can color on besides my walls.

It’s so hard to feed Brady when we are out to eat at a restaurant. He’s gluten, dairy and soy free. He’s also tired of plain hamburgers with no bun. I was ecstatic when Johnny Carino’s emailed me to inform me about their new gluten free menu! Many of the options were perfect for Brady, […]
My wedding ring is worth more to me than the money it’s actually worth. It’s symbolic, it’s meaningful and it’s always with me. I’ve probably taken the ring off only half a dozen times since it was first put on my hand. I sleep with it on, shower with it on, swim with it on, […]
Valentine’s day is so fun for the kids. Making mailboxes, signing all the cards, listening to the groans from the kids when they realize they have 31 kids in their class, agreeing to help them sign the cards, drinking wine at 11pm and trying to forge a 7 year-old’s handwriting… good times. Now Shutterfly makes […]
I touched briefly on my youngest son’s medical/special needs issues. Dyspraxia, Apraxia, Hypotonia Oh My! and Chewy is a Rockstar! I’ve felt conflicted in sharing his story because, well, it’s not really my story to share, it’s his. What if he grows up to be the President of the United States and some bored TMZ […]
