Moms these days are super busy! I don’t have to tell you that. I have work deadlines and meetings, my oldest has a football game and driving lessons, middle boy has playdates and is in desperate need of a haircut. Youngest has a crazy school schedule, various therapies and more. We are always on the go. Many days I’m so busy I forget to eat lunch. Like, what?! Who forgets to eat?!
I was asked to take part in a delicious campaign with Hillshire Farms to taste their new snacking on the go line of products. Never one to turn down free food, I jumped on the chance to try them.
I picked up their Small Plates. Cheese, crackers and a meat. Protien, carbs, yum. I took one with me when I had a busy day of being a taxi for the kids and was so glad I did. I was able to snack in the car as I drove from one school to the next, playdate to doctor’s office, gym to back home.
It didn’t even feel like a snack, it felt like I should have had nice glass of wine with me because it was so decadent! Sadly I just had my water bottle, but later that evening, after the kids were in bed, I grabbed another one of the small plates, poured a glass of Malbec and turned on my guilty pleasure, Total Divas. The perfect end to the day and the perfect small portion so I wasn’t over indulging and eating an entire block of cheese, like I’m known to do. 😉
A little more about the small plates:

Genoa Salame with Natural White Cheddar Cheese
Wine-Infused Salame with Natural White Cheddar Cheese
Italian Dry Salame with Natural Gouda Cheese
Hot Calabrese Salame with Natural Gouda Cheese
I have tried the Genoa Salame and Italian Dry with Gouda and both were so delicious. I wouldn’t have expected something this flavorful from an on-the-go type of snack. Even my kids love them, when I let them have a taste, which is rare because I don’t like to share!
