Before Brady was born, I knew he’d be special. He had to be with all of the craziness that surrounded my pregnancy. Hyperemesis gravidarum, Premature ventricular contractions (PVCs), back spasms, nerve issues in my arms and sciatica, contractions from 15 weeks on, preterm labor starting at 6 months and going until he was finally born at 36 weeks. Exhausting! Needless to say, when he was born, the entire family was thrilled because it meant that mommy would (hopefully) be back to normal.
You can read about all of our challenges and successes with Brady the past 6 years in our special needs section here on the blog, but I wanted to share the greatest success, the day he finally arrived and my boys got to meet him. I love how Carter is looking at his dad all proud to meet the new baby and Thomas already looks like the protective big brother!
