Yesterday morning the Denver Art Museum kicked off ticket sales for their new hotly anticipated exhibit, Star Wars and The Power of Costumes. Opening on November 13, visitors will get to see over 60 costumes up close, including Princess Leia’s gold bikini and Darth Vader’s suit. Tickets are now on sale, for the exhibit running through April 2, 2017.
To kick off the sales and get Denver excited, they hosted a gathering in the courtyard, where fans young and old got to take pictures with some of their favorite characters. I personally was excited to meet Darth Vader and BB-8.
As a bonus to the activities, Gov Hickenlooper sent a proclamation that today, May 4, 2016 for known as Star Wars Day in Colorado.
