Denver is a fun place to go, but if you live in the Fort Collins and Loveland areas a drive to Denver might not be at the top of your wish list. Have no fear Northern Colorado is host to an awesome amount of things to do with kids this summer and this A to Z list of adventures for you and your kids in the Fort Collins area is just the beginning!

A- Have little artists in your house? Take them to Artisan You and paint some pottery, work with clay or even fuse glass.

B- Beach time at Lake Loveland Swim Beach will have you forgetting we live in a landlocked state.

C- Hit the outdoor pool at City Park or have a picnic, play on the playgrounds, feed the ducks in Sheldon Lake or even ride the Trolley.

D- Downtown Fort Collins is the place to be for live music at the Downtown Summer Sessions.

E- Edora Pool and Ice Center provides for EPIC ways to cool down with both indoor swimming pools and an indoor skating rink.

F- Watch the Fort Collins Foxes on the baseball field and enjoy America’s pastime without driving all the way into downtown Denver.

G- Wander through the Gardens on Spring Creek taking time to explore and play in the whimsical Children’s Garden.

H- A Hike around Horsetooth Rock and the surrounding trails or a swim at Horsetooth Reservoir will have your kids feeling like adventurers.

I- Take the kids to get imaginative at Juice on Imagination and create magnificent artwork.

J- Have the kids Jump and bounce their energy out at Jumpin’.

K- Kids cooking classes and camps at Foodies will have your little foodies whipping up delicious dishes.

L- The Farm at Lee Martinez Park offers a fun with real farm animals right in the city and a park next door to boot.

M- Fort Collins Museum of Discovery will have your kids – and you – engaged in science, music, history, and more for hours.

N- North Shore Park is the prefect spot to head to let your little engineers ride the rails on a sweet replica steam engine on the Buckhorn Northern Railroad.

O- Oak Street Plaza’s splash pad mixes Old Town Fort Collins charm with wet and wild fun.

P- Tour the Pizza Farm at Harvest Farm and see all the ingredients to make a pizza grown in the shape of a pizza.

Q- Qwerkle and Quiddler are just two of the dozens and dozens of games to play at the Haunted Game Cafe.

R- Rollerskating with friends at Rollerland is a summertime staple.

S- Show off  sweet skateboard skills at the skateboard park at Fossil Creek Park.

T- Take a step back in time at the Timberlane Farm Museum and learn about life in Northern Colorado in the 1800s.

U- Uncover the sleeping giant and all it’s hidden fun at the amazing inspiration playground at Spring Canyon Park.

V- A video arcade, batting cages, mini gold and more will fill hours with fun at Fort Fun.

W- Watch a double feature at Holiday Twin Drive-in, Northern Colorado’s only drive in movie theater. It’s like a blast from the past, but with current feature films!

X- X-treme Challange Arena is the place to go for fun games, stunts, and gladiator style challenges for kids.

Y- The Young Audience Series at the Midtown Arts Center is a great way to introduce your kids to the theater with shows like The Cat in the Hat, and Robin Hood

Z- Swetsville Zoo featuring animals and creatures made from metal and other fun sculptures is unlike any zoo you’ve ever seen before.
